Maleiah Carroll, O.D., is a Consultative Optometrist with OMNI Eye Specialists at our Catonsville location. She provides comprehensive services with an emphasis on the diagnosis and management of ocular diseases, and post-operative surgical care. Dr. Carroll is passionate about providing patient-centered care and helping patients maintain healthy vision.

Dr. Carroll earned her Bachelor or Science degree in Biology with a minor in Chemisty from LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis, TN, and went on to receive her Doctorate in Optometry degree at Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University.

She completed post-graduate training at the VA Medical Center and Salus University, where her clinical focus was neuro-ophthalmic disease, as well as internships at the Woolfson Eye Institute in Atlanta, GA, focusing on ocular disease and pre- and post-refractive surgery care, and the Vision Health Institute in Orlando, FL, where she gained experience in primary eye care and contact lens management. During her optometric training, Dr. Carroll was recognized as a 2022 American Academy of Optometry Student Fellow and was honored as a 2022 recipient of the Dr. Marvin R. Poston Foundation and VSP Global® HBCU Visioning the Future Award, which celebrates and supports future leaders in optometry.

Outside of work, Dr. Carroll enjoys taking time to relax, recharge, and give back to her community. She loves traveling, exploring new places, and expressing her creativity through pottery.
