50% down prior to treatment, remaining 50% due over 90 days with 3 equal installments

2. Flex-Plan funds / Income Tax Deduction
The IRS has issued a letter ruling a clarifying that uninsured costs for refractive surgery are a deductible medical expense for personal income tax purposes. The clarification confirms that patients may be eligible to use pre-tax dollars to pay for refractive surgery expenses not otherwise covered by insurance. (Please check with your insurance benefits manager.) Patients who do not participate in flexible benefit spending plans may also be able to deduct uninsured refractive surgery expenses if their total medical expenses exceed 7.5% of adjusted gross income.
